Matthew Lovett is Associate Professor in Music Innovation at the University of Gloucestershire; a musician and theorist whose work explores the common ground between creative practice, continental philosophy and political economy.
His work focuses on music economics, technology and creative processes in relation to new materialist philosophies, and his musical practice, which is frequently collaborative, engages with improvisation, environmental performance, and audiovisual composition.
